Eating & Nightlife

Soul Quarter

Experience the warm and inviting atmosphere of Soul Quarter in Stranges Lane, Christchurch. With fairy-lit dining open to the courtyard in summer, or candlelit evening and winter dining by the fire, you’ll love this hidden gem.

Soul Quarter has had a complete change of fitout, lifting the ambience to create a vibrant and comfortable atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive with a huge passion for excellent service, cocktails, beer and wine and go out of their way to provide a great dining experience. Our expert kitchen team, led by who we believe to be one of the best chefs in the city, have designed a Louisiana French fusion style menu, and with vegan and gluten free options will have something for everyone.

At Cascade we specialise in our own in-house designed cocktails, created using premium ingredients. It has a well-thought out wine list and a range of specially selected craft beers. The menu is based around sharing plates for a casual dining experience with new, comfortable booth seating inside or a sunny seat in the sheltered courtyard. For a limited time we’re giving you the opportunity to experience Soul Quarter through First Table, where you can receive 50% of the food bill.

Dinner is in hot demand, lunch spots still available.

We look forward to welcoming you.
