Hi I'm Lauren, owner and operator of Proud Beauty.
I've always had a passion for making people look and feel their best and studied at Kristen Stewart School of Makeup in Christchurch in 2014. Since graduating with High Distinction, I've worked on a variety of makeup projects in New Zealand, England and America.
My Makeup experience includes TV shows, Runway, Photoshoots, Editorial and Formal Occasions. Bridal Makeup, where I get to help with the most special of days, is my ultimate favourite type of makeup work.
Over time, I’ve expanded my skills and services. I now offer Lash Extensions, Henna Brow Shaping, Brow Laminations, Lash Lifts, Cosmetic Tattooing and Teeth Whitening. Proud Beauty now has many treatments to offer to suit your needs.
Nestled in these years are 5 Summer’s at a Camp in America as a Program Director, Being a Care Support Worker for Learning Needs and Mental Health in the UK, and a lot of travelling and experiencing new cultures.
Growing up and from starting life in England, I went to 10 schools around the world and thought I’d never stop moving. Finding a passion in beauty and a hobby in Latin Dance, I now have fantastic reason to stay in one place and make a home here in Christchurch!
