Beginning July 8th, Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū welcomes Te Rā, the only known customary Māori sail in existence. The exhibition presents an opportunity for everyone to grow their understanding of this important part of our nation’s cultural heritage — Event Details

The regularly-changing exhibition programme offers a dynamic choice of collection-based, national and international touring exhibitions.

Additionally, a range of daytime and evening lectures, floor talks, films and events make the Gallery an enjoyable and impressive place to visit for all ages. With its dramatic 90-metre glass and metal façade, the Gallery is one of Christchurch's key attractions, for locals and tourists alike.
